Raising the Walls is a non-profit organization that provides much needed housing for families living in extreme poverty through corporate and community building projects.
These projects provide local employment and support to community structures in the colonias outside Juarez, Mexico. Teams of volunteers construct the house walls and roof sections, which are then shipped to Mexico to be reassembled and completed by our Mexican staff for a family in need. Families are living in make-shift structures made of pallets, cardboard, and plastic, typically on a dirt floor.
